Precision proton beams target lung cancer recurrence

NCT ID NCT06008730

Summary

This study tests whether proton beam radiation therapy works better than standard radiation after lung cancer surgery. It aims to kill any remaining cancer cells while protecting healthy tissue, potentially reducing the chance of cancer returning. The trial will enroll 20 adults who have already had surgery and chemotherapy for non-small cell lung cancer that spread to lymph nodes. Researchers will track side effects and cancer recurrence for two years.
