Could 3 weeks of proton therapy be as safe as 5 for breast cancer?

Summary
This study tests if a shorter, 3-week course of proton radiation is as safe and effective as the standard 5-week course for women with breast cancer who also need radiation to nearby lymph nodes. About 276 participants will receive either the shorter or longer treatment. The goal is to see if the shorter course causes fewer or similar skin and tissue side effects while still controlling the cancer.
