First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study aims to understand why some patients with severe dry eye syndrome improve with autologous serum eye drops while others do not. Researchers will analyze the protein makeup of the eye drops from 68 participants to find differences between responders and non-responders after 6 months. The goal is to identify which proteins are linked to a good response, which could help personalize treatment in the future.
