Blood particle analysis may reveal clues about aneurysm rupture risk
NCT ID NCT07439965
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at tiny particles called extracellular vesicles in the blood of people with brain aneurysms. Researchers want to see if the proteins in these particles differ depending on where in the body the blood is taken and whether the aneurysm has burst. About 120 adults will give blood samples during a procedure, and the goal is to find markers that could help diagnose or predict the outcome of a brain bleed.
