Can your dinner help you sleep? scientists test meat vs. plant protein

NCT ID NCT05400005

Summary

This study is investigating whether eating more protein can improve sleep quality in older adults. Researchers are comparing a normal diet to two high-protein diets—one using a milk protein supplement and one using a soy protein supplement—over 16 weeks. They will measure sleep quality, mood, gut bacteria, and various blood markers to see if the type of protein matters.
