Can extra protein keep dialysis patients out of the hospital?
NCT ID NCT07237997
Summary
This study aims to see if eating more protein can improve health outcomes for people on long-term dialysis. Researchers will follow 114 adult patients for two years to measure if a higher protein diet leads to fewer unplanned hospital stays. The goal is to update old dietary guidelines and see if better nutrition helps control the disease and improve quality of life.
