Summary
This study aims to understand how different protein supplements affect people with advanced alcohol-related liver cirrhosis. Researchers will give 50 participants two protein drinks (whey and egg white) on separate days and measure changes in blood ammonia levels and mental function. The goal is to learn which protein source might be safer for patients at risk of brain complications from liver disease.
