Summary
This study aims to make prosthetic hands feel more natural and useful for Veterans who have lost an arm. Researchers are testing small electrical nerve stimulations to create a 'sense of position' in the missing limb, telling the user where their prosthetic hand is and if it's moving. The goal is to improve control and acceptance of prosthetic devices by restoring this missing feeling.
