NCT ID NCT05473065

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study aims to see if letting veterans with below-knee amputations briefly try different prosthetic feet can help predict which foot will give them the best stability and balance confidence. Up to 100 participants will test several feet in a lab and then wear each one at home for a week. The goal is to improve safety and reduce falls by matching each person with the right foot.
