First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at 200 men with early-stage prostate cancer who had robotic surgery to remove their prostate. It compared two surgical techniques—the HOOD method and a standard reconstruction—to see which helped men regain bladder control sooner. The main goal was to measure how quickly continence returned after catheter removal and at 3, 6, and 12 weeks after surgery.
