Summary

This study aims to better understand serious prostate cancer by analyzing urine samples from 2,000 men. Researchers hope to find new markers that can help detect life-threatening prostate cancer more accurately and reduce unnecessary treatment for harmless forms. Participants include men scheduled for a prostate biopsy or those recently diagnosed, and some will take a special supplement to see how it changes their urine chemistry.
