New Two-Drug attack on tough prostate cancer

Summary
This study is testing if adding a second chemotherapy drug, carboplatin, to the standard drug docetaxel can help men with advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to hormone therapy. The goal is to see if this combination can slow the cancer's growth and help patients live longer compared to the standard single-drug treatment. The study is for men whose cancer has specific genetic changes related to DNA repair.
