Radioactive drug trial offers new hope for advanced prostate cancer patients

Summary

This study is testing whether a radioactive drug called AAA817, when given with standard hormone therapy, can better control advanced prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to standard treatments. The trial will compare this combination against other standard treatment options in about 940 men. Researchers want to see if the new combination can delay cancer progression and help patients live longer.
