Testosterone shots studied to stall prostate cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether adding cycles of testosterone injections to standard prostate cancer drugs can delay the cancer from spreading to other parts of the body. It involves about 69 men whose prostate cancer has become resistant to standard hormone therapy but hasn't yet shown up on scans. Participants will receive testosterone shots every 8 weeks while continuing their regular medications, with the goal of extending the time before the cancer becomes detectable elsewhere.
