New drug duo aims to wipe out prostate tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests whether combining the drug BMS986365 with hormone therapy (degarelix) before standard prostate removal surgery can safely eliminate or shrink high-risk prostate cancer. About 30 adults with localized high-risk prostate cancer will receive the combination for a short time before surgery. The main goal is to see how many patients have no cancer or only tiny traces left in the removed prostate.
