New radiation technique aims to protect Men's urinary health during prostate cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT05804318

Summary

This study is testing a new, personalized type of radiation therapy for low to intermediate risk prostate cancer. The goal is to see if using daily imaging to adjust the radiation beams and avoid the urethra can reduce common urinary side effects like frequent or painful urination. Researchers will compare patient-reported side effects from this new method to those from standard radiation treatments.
