5-Day prostate cancer treatment tested as alternative to 9-Week radiation
NCT ID NCT03889119
Summary
This study is testing a shorter, more intense form of radiation therapy for prostate cancer. Instead of the standard 40-45 daily treatments, this approach delivers the radiation in just 5 sessions. The main goals are to see how well it controls the cancer long-term and to measure its impact on patients' quality of life and side effects.
