New combo radiation aims to tame tough prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests a new way to give radiation for prostate cancer that is harder to treat. It combines two types of radiation: one from outside the body and one from inside. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and tolerable for patients. About 31 men with unfavorable or high-risk prostate cancer will take part.
