Shorter radiation course tested for advanced prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT05656794
Summary
This study is testing if a shorter, more intense radiation schedule (every other day for 2 weeks) is as safe as a longer, weekly schedule (6 weeks) for treating the prostate in men whose cancer has spread. It aims to control the disease while comparing side effects and quality of life. The goal is to find a treatment that is easier on patients without losing effectiveness.
