Blood test may predict painful side effects of prostate cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07145437
Summary
This study is testing a simple blood test to see if it can predict which men are more likely to experience long-term side effects from a specific type of radiation therapy for prostate cancer. Researchers will give the test to 220 men before they start treatment and then track their health and quality of life for five years. The goal is to help doctors better select patients for this treatment and reduce the risk of severe side effects.
