Shorter radiation for prostate cancer: is it just as good?
NCT ID NCT04610372
Summary
This study is testing if shorter, more intense radiation treatments are as well-tolerated and effective as the standard, longer course for men with prostate cancer that has spread to a few other spots in the body. It will compare different radiation methods, focusing on side effects, quality of life, and whether the cancer progresses. The goal is to find a more convenient and potentially cost-effective treatment option.
