First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving an extra-high radiation dose directly to the main prostate tumor, along with standard radiation to the rest of the prostate, can cure intermediate-risk prostate cancer or keep it from coming back longer. About 91 men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer will receive this targeted boost. The goal is to reduce the chance of cancer returning after treatment from 20% down to 10% while keeping side effects low.
