New prostate cancer shot tested as alternative to daily pills

Summary
This study is testing a new injectable form of a prostate cancer hormone therapy called ASP5541. It aims to see if this injection, given every 12 weeks, works as well or better than the standard daily pill version and if it causes fewer side effects. The trial will enroll about 218 men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.
