New MRI dye could spot prostate cancer more clearly

Summary
This study tests a special contrast agent called hyperpolarized 13-C pyruvate during MRI scans to see if it can show prostate tumors more clearly than standard imaging. About 130 men with prostate cancer will be scanned at two hospitals. The goal is to improve how doctors find and assess prostate cancer, which could lead to better treatment decisions.
