Cheaper scan could track deadly prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT06828263
Summary
This study aims to see if a simpler, more widely available type of scan (called SPECT/CT) can effectively monitor how well a targeted radiation treatment is working for men with advanced prostate cancer. Researchers will compare this simpler scan to a more expensive and complex scan (PET/CT) to see if it provides the same useful information about the cancer's response. The goal is to find a more convenient and cost-effective way to track treatment, which could help doctors make better decisions about continuing or changing therapy.
