Researchers track Real-World use of prostate cancer drugs in older men
NCT ID NCT06072196
Summary
This study looked at how long men 65 and older with advanced prostate cancer that responds to hormone therapy stayed on newer hormone treatments. Researchers analyzed Medicare insurance claims data from over 3,000 men who were prescribed these medications by their regular doctors. The goal was to understand real-world treatment patterns, not to test new drugs or change treatments.
