Scientists track Cancer's 'Fingerprints' after surgery

NCT ID NCT06326216

Summary

This study aims to understand if tiny particles released by prostate cancer cells, found in blood and urine, change after surgery and if they relate to standard blood test results. Researchers will collect samples from about 100 men with prostate cancer before and after their surgery, and from women as a comparison group. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day lead to better ways to monitor treatment, but this study itself does not test a new treatment.
