Scientists scan brains to see if cancer drugs cause 'Chemo Brain'

NCT ID NCT03016741

Summary

This study aims to understand if two common prostate cancer drugs, abiraterone and enzalutamide, affect memory, concentration, and other thinking skills. Researchers will use brain scans and cognitive tests to compare 100 men with advanced prostate cancer who are taking these drugs. The goal is to learn if these treatments cause changes in brain function and identify which patients might be more at risk.
