New Two-Drug attack on tough prostate cancers
NCT ID NCT03910660
Summary
This study tested a new oral drug, BXCL701, combined with the immunotherapy pembrolizumab for men with advanced prostate cancer that had stopped responding to standard treatments. The goal was to find a safe dose and see if the combination could help control the cancer. It focused on two specific types of advanced prostate cancer: a rare, aggressive form and the more common type.
