New pill strategy aims to shrink tumors before prostate removal

Summary
This study is testing if taking a targeted pill called olaparib, along with hormone therapy, for 6 months before prostate removal surgery helps men with high-risk prostate cancer. It is for men whose cancer has specific genetic changes. The main goal is to see if this pre-surgery treatment can shrink or even eliminate the cancer in the removed prostate.
