Two drugs better than one? prostate cancer trial aims to shrink tumors before surgery

NCT ID NCT06627530

Summary

This study is testing whether using two hormone-blocking drugs together before prostate removal surgery works better than using just one drug for men with aggressive prostate cancer. Researchers want to see if the combination shrinks tumors more effectively, leaving less cancer behind after surgery. The trial involves 144 men who will receive either one drug, the other drug, or both for 24 weeks before their operation.
