Smarter radiation for prostate cancer: study aims to reduce side effects

Summary
This study is testing a more precise type of radiation therapy for prostate cancer called adaptive stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). It compares the standard approach to one that adjusts the radiation dose based on daily changes in bladder and rectal filling. The goal is to see if this adaptation can better protect nearby organs and maintain quality of life. The study will enroll 100 men aged 60 or older with low- or intermediate-risk localized prostate cancer and follow them for 24 months.
