Simple scan could spare men from ineffective prostate drugs
NCT ID NCT07306767
Summary
This study looked at whether a simple ultrasound measurement of how much the prostate bulges into the bladder can predict how well men will respond to medication for urinary symptoms. Researchers followed 130 men over six months to see if the initial scan could identify who would need stronger treatment or surgery. The goal is to help doctors choose the right treatment faster and avoid ineffective medications.
