First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether propranolol, a medicine used for high blood pressure and chest pain, can prevent heart injury in breast cancer patients who have these conditions and are having surgery. About 100 women will take part, and researchers will compare those who get propranolol with those who don't. The goal is to see if the drug helps keep the heart stable during and after the operation.
