Finding the best dose to heal painful skin sores in babies

NCT ID NCT06798363

Summary

This study aims to find the best starting dose of a medication called propranolol to heal painful, open sores (ulcers) that can form on infantile hemangiomas, which are common, non-cancerous skin growths in babies. Researchers will compare how quickly the ulcers heal and monitor for side effects in about 40 children. The goal is to provide clearer guidance for doctors on the safest and most effective dose to use from the start of treatment.
