Summary
This study aims to understand how a common anesthesia drug, propofol, changes proteins in a person's blood. Researchers will collect small blood samples from 10 adults before and after they receive propofol for scheduled surgery. The goal is to learn how to better interpret blood tests in critically ill patients who are sedated with this drug.
