Summary

This study tested whether a hormone called progesterone could help prevent women who recently gave birth from returning to methamphetamine use. 34 postpartum women with a history of methamphetamine use disorder took either progesterone or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal was to see if the treatment was safe, feasible, and could reduce cravings and relapse.
