First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study interviews 24 women aged 25 and older who have a BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation to learn how they might use polygenic risk scores and new early detection tests when deciding about cancer screening or preventive surgery. The goal is to better understand patient attitudes, not to test a treatment. Results will help guide future counseling and care.
