First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting a sugar solution (prolotherapy) into acupuncture points can reduce chronic low back pain better than a standard numbing injection alone. Sixty adults with long-term back pain will receive up to 15 injections over three sessions. Researchers will measure pain and function at 15, 30, and 90 days after treatment.
