Summary

This study looks at high-achieving Black, Latinx, and Asian American high school students who succeed despite stress. Researchers want to see if mindfulness training can reduce the physical and mental health problems that often come with this kind of resilience. About 504 students will be randomly assigned to either a mindfulness program or a study skills group. The goal is to understand if changing how students manage emotions can improve their health and well-being.
