New program helps arab americans better manage diabetes

Summary
This study tests a diabetes education program designed specifically for Arab Americans with type 2 diabetes. Participants will attend peer-led classes in Arabic and receive text messages to help with self-care. The goal is to improve diabetes knowledge, beliefs, and blood sugar levels. About 48 people will take part.
