First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study compares levels of a protein called progranulin and a marker of inflammation (TNF-α) in the blood of people with ankylosing spondylitis (a type of arthritis affecting the spine) versus healthy volunteers. Researchers want to see if progranulin could be used as a biomarker to better understand the disease and its treatment. About 160 adults aged 20-65 will participate.
