First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study aims to create and test a scoring system that helps doctors identify which patients with metastatic breast cancer are likely to live longer with a third round of chemotherapy. Researchers will collect information from 267 women, including standard tests and a newer test that counts tumor cells in the blood. The goal is to avoid unnecessary treatments and focus on those who truly benefit.
