Summary
This study will look back at medical records of 100 adults in France who were admitted to intensive care after swallowing a caustic substance (like strong acid or bleach). The goal is to find which factors best predict who survives and who has complications. No new treatments are tested; instead, researchers hope to learn how to better identify high-risk patients and improve care.
