New progesterone shot may match standard gel for IVF success

Summary
This study tests whether a progesterone injection works as well as a vaginal gel for helping embryos implant and maintain early pregnancy after frozen embryo transfer. About 680 women aged 35 to 42 with infertility will receive either the injection or the gel, and researchers will compare pregnancy rates. The goal is to offer a more convenient option without lowering success.
