New hormone study aims to improve life for transgender women

Summary

This study is testing if adding a hormone called progesterone to standard hormone therapy helps transgender women. Researchers want to see if it improves breast development, sleep quality, and mental well-being, while also checking for any effects on heart health. The study will follow 40 transgender women who have been on hormone therapy for at least six months.
