Does more money for groceries mean healthier eating?
NCT ID NCT05978843
Summary
This study aimed to find out if giving people different amounts of money for fruits and vegetables changes how much they actually buy and eat. Researchers gave 242 participants in Stockton, California, either $40, $80, or $110 per month for six months to spend on produce. They tracked how much of the money was used, changes in food insecurity, and fruit and vegetable consumption to see which amount worked best.
