First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This completed study looked at whether procrastination stops people from going to the dentist. 196 adults filled out surveys measuring their tendency to procrastinate and their confidence in managing their oral health. Researchers then checked if those scores matched up with how often people actually visited the dentist. The goal was to understand psychological barriers to dental care.
