Gut relief study for spinal injury patients
NCT ID NCT06870331
Summary
This study is testing whether daily probiotic or prebiotic supplements can help improve gut health and reduce digestive problems in people living with chronic spinal cord injury. Fifty participants will try each supplement for eight weeks to see if it eases their gastrointestinal symptoms, changes their gut bacteria, or reduces inflammation. The goal is to find simple dietary additions that might improve quality of life for those managing long-term spinal cord injuries.
