Can a daily probiotic pill slow memory loss in aging?
NCT ID NCT07165977
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily probiotic supplement can help improve or slow down memory and thinking problems in older adults. Researchers want to see if the supplement works better for people who eat different types of diets. Over 100 participants will take either the probiotic or a placebo pill for three months, then switch, while researchers measure changes in memory tests and gut bacteria.
